I have been having the same problem. I'm trying to eat low cal foods then I can consume more volume for less calories. I think the cold weather makes me want to eat more and I'm trying to stay warm to see, if that will help.

Well, from the information you have provided, i can deduct that the binging may have been caused solely by boredom or by an emotional event in your life. If that's the case i would recommend that you try to deal with the issue that triggered the binging in the first place. If the triger is an emotional thing, i can assume that an event in your life may have caused you to binge and i assure you it's a normal process in life and people tend to either binge or undereat but i do recommend that you don't make it a habit, that's the most important part because once it becomes habitual, even when the emotional stress is dealt with, the binging will continue. Hope this helps.

I'm afraid the answer is willpower-related. But what is the reason you are eating more? Has something upset you? Or are you just bored?
Another thing you could try is brushing your teeth with minty toothpaste when you are hungry, which makes food taste awful. Also, try drinking a pint of water when you feel like overeating, so that you don't eat so much.
If I am eating a lot I also try to distract myself by doing something I like - playing a game, watching a movie, etc.
You could have put on any amount of weight in two weeks, depending on how quickly you gain weight; maybe a jeans size or two at most I guess.

Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").
The Hoodia sold at http://tinyurl.com/y389on is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

are you stress eating, which is very common? Have u quit smoking, is that why you're eating? Have you binged on food before? You need to find out WHY you are binging and come to terms with that. In the meantime, when you start thinking about food, do something else, take a walk, whatever, to get your mind off of food. One pound of calories is 3,600, so if you consumed an extra 3600 calories, then you gained one pound.

Have you been through any emotional turmoil lately? If so that's called emotional eating. Just when you get the urge to eat drink water that will make you fill full. You can redirect your energy to something else. Work out or do something you like to do besides eating. Weight gain would be determined by the amount of exercise you are doing.

stop thinking about food - go out - do things - make yourself busy - it's the only way. I doubt you gain a lot in 2 weeks... but personally if i diet I eat more than usually . I become obsessed with it and food. It's better not to think about it and the body will let you know when you are hungry

I think that this weather is what causes people to get the munchies more! I find that when I do get a craving, I go for veggies, fruits, natural popcorn, healthy things that are actually still good. Also, if you are eating that much, try going for a walk! It will get your metabolism going and you will burn more! I find when I am not working or at school, I get bored and munch too! The key is to stay busy -- Clean if you much!! Good luck! :)

I think there's a root to this problem. Have you broken a relationship lately? Family members bothering you? Job or school problems. I eat excessively when something different, and usually bothering, is happening in my life. Search it out in your mind, and solve that problem first. Then the eating should go back to the norm!

depending on the type of calories and your exercise level and body structure.....any where from 5 to 25 lbs.
get daily exercise for 1/2 hour to 1 hour... it helps control your appetite plus burn calories more effeciently.
start by determining your acceptable portion sizes... one easy way to do this is to buy lean cuisine or some other pre portioned healthy option and then supplementing that with other green or orange vegtables or a salad with vinegar and oil or lemon juice dressing in a measured amount...like 1 to 2 tablespoons... count that in your calories too.... avoid the urge to use blue chese or ranch or other high fat dressings... think changing they type of fats you eat...
think about what you eat... if i eat bread in any way shape or form it makes me hungier all day... keep a food diary write down every morsel even the bites you cheat with while cooking... and also include your emotions and your hunger level as welll as the times... after 2 weeks or month look at your trends...
fill up on low calorie but nuttious foods.... you can eat a whole bag of frozen green beans and consume a lot less calories then a whole pizza... one can of beats is like 120 calories...
take a mult vitamin you maybe lacking key nutrients...
try 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil or refined walnut oil in water in the morning and evening... dont eat for at least an hour... i tried this and it really helped... it could take 2 weeks though but i noticed that day i ate alot less...
think balance in your diet.. if you have been any type of restricted diet lately your body will go bersek... think balance. healthy oils. low or non fat dairy.
are you binging in one or two big episodes or eating all day...
if your eating primarily at night try eating a good breakfast... yogurt and fruit, non fat milk and high fiber cereal with out added sugar... its hard but the best i found is Kashi Go lean...other cererals and i'm hugnry in an hour but with kashi and nonfat milk i somtimes forget about lunch.. plan for regular snacks eat a small portion of something every 3 to 4 hours... every 2 if you need to.. just plan your caloric intake for the day and divide accordingly... eat some type of protein at most of those times...
if your just grazing all day... stop... plan your meals and your snacks and stick to it!... sure low sodium low fat broth type soups to fill you up. remind yourself that ;your next snack is only a few hours away... drink plenty of water and or tea ( many varieties avaible now so you get flavor without calories plus antioxidents) without sweetner in between meals
stop eating trans fats and fast food... the high sodim and fat content actually can make you crave more.
moderate your diet... recent reseach has indicated too many new flavors can increase hunger levels so try to stick to maybe 4 or 5 roatating daily plans for a few weeks...
i am amolst constantly hungry and sometimes have to just tell myself i will survive for the next hour or two......
also depression or anxiety can change yoru appetite deal with those issues if you have them.
good luck
