I know there are a lot of hypocrites in the church, I know I have delt with them. But there seems to be a lot a dickheads in hear that like to mock Jesus and his Father. Is it just this system or is it people in general, as I have never bumped into anybody like that. It is Just the crazy yanks as I am not in the states thank goodness, or is it unbelievers full stop. This is the worst system i have ever been on when it comes to mocking God. It is great to know God is not mocked, and it is going to be the people that mock him mocked themselves, as they are just mere mortals who will eventually die anyway and go straight to hell.The mockers will be mocked, that is great to know that. Amen to that. God said vengence is mine says the Lord, I will repay. Awsome. The wicked gets destroyed eventually. all they have to do is wait. anyway Christians how have to atheists been treating you?

You are right. I find that there is more mocking and scoffing on this forum than most of the others I've been on. Despite the hate, we need to continue to express the truth in love... even when they do not want to hear it. This is a religion and spirituality section, and have just as much right to express our views as they do. It's just that there is more hatred here than is usual, though there are some respectful people here as well..

Non-Christians treat me just fine. I think in general, most people are good at heart, and usually are fairly tolerant. I have had people make fun of religion or put down Christianity in my presence, of course, but I personally have not been treated badly by these people. I think as a Christian it's important to lead by example rather than debate and defend Christianity to people who would mock it. By trying to treat others well and follow the teachings of Jesus, I think that's the best way to witness. When people ask, "why are you doing this for me?" or "why are you so happy?", it's at that moment you give credit where it belongs.

Most damage done to Christians is by other Christians. Most Christians tend to have a holier-than-thou attitude, at least in the U.S. anyways. Most Atheists wouldn't really even have a negative thing to say to a Christian walking along and minding his own business, other than a quick "hello."

Atheists and non believers can say what they want. It does bother me to hear them and the hate that they portray. They are just a lost soul crying for help, thats all I hear. I'm fortunate to be a christian and it is a choice. Some do not want to live a different life and make the choice to love God. Judgement day will come.

I don't understand why people get so worked up about blasphemy? Isn't God tough enough to look after himself?
Atheists treat me very well on the whole. Christians generally treat me far worse.

No, they just mock the arrogant and obnoxious attitude that you project as well. By the way, I'm glad your not here(US) either. Me, I just shake my head and think..."you guys just don't get it(religion)". because you all are so into punishment for any precieved "sin" or just not believing and buying your "do this or else" fear tactic.
