the results of another test? Does that mean there could be something wrong and they want me to know first before they tell my doctor?

NOT necessarily! Sometimes, mistakes are made & all things are not up to par in the paper work to the doctor. REMEMBER! Most of the time it's a mistake made by office workers NOT the doctor. Don't worry until you find out what's up. Wishing you the best of luck!

no- most of the time doctors just want to see abnormal test results. if only the abnormal tests were provided and something like "all other tests were normal" was stipulated, then i wouldn't worry about anything. that's standard operating procedure.

Maybe your doctor only requested the results of one test... do not read too much into it. If it is bothering you then ask WHY?

Not necessarily. The doctor who referred you to them is your primary care doctor. It is the ethical practice for referred doctor to provide the primary doctor the results so they can provide them for you. After all, you are the patient of the primary doctor and it is their responsibility to care for you.

Don't read too much into that. It may just be the way that doctor does things in his practice.
