My daughter's hair is really hard to comb through at times. Does anyone know of a home remedy for a detangller?

Although I am a professional stylist I have found 2 over-the-counter detanglers I really like better than anything. Sunsilk (a rather new product) makes a leave in product that is great. Its in a pink bottle and costs about 3 bucks and also try some silicone glosser it coats the cuticle and makes the comb slip right thru, lots of companies make them. Go to the ethnic hair care section and buy it, no matter what your "race" is. For some reason they sell the same stuff there cheaper. I think its cause some ethnic folks simply won't pay for all the hype (and good for them!), its just as good and you save a buck or two.

My hair used to tangle like no other and I tried a ton of detanglers, but none of them helped. Then I started washing and conditioning my hair with Matrix Sleek Looks, and I can actually finger comb my (long, coarse, curly) wet hair. It's awesome. Pricey, but *definitely* worth it.

olive oil is great for hair. what you really need is Biolage Detangling Solution. it's the best in the world. be sure to rinse most out though. it doesn't help to leave it n. makes hair dryer. if the child has ethnic(kinky) hair, use Paul Mitchell foaming pommade. it is also the best, and can be reactivated with water.
