1957 - The Six - Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and France
1973 - The Nine - UK, Ireland and Denmark
Since then: Portugal, Spain, Greece, Sweden? Poland? I'm pretty certain Norway said no, I don't think Austria/Switzerland/Lichtenstein are in, and I think the Baltic states are due to join in 2009. Not sure.
