I reformatted a Sony VAIO using recovery wizard and don't have any drivers so I have a desktop and I tried d/ling them off of Sony's website. I tried d/ling to a 3.5 floppy but got a message that said I need more room. What sort of disk should I d/l drivers onto? Is there any special formatting of that disk that I need to do before I use it to d/l the drivers? Please be specific this is my first time downloading drivers to a disk when I reformatted my Dell I already had all my back up disk with the drivers but I don't have any for the VAIO. Thank you.

You can save them to your computer or the computer you are using to download them from and email them to yourself so when you get to the computer that needs them you can get them from your email or you can save them to a cd instead of a floppy. Most drives are too big to put on a floppy!

it sounds like the drivers are too large to fit on a floppy disk.

Can you download all the drivers, burn them to CD, and then use that?
