I am on my own with 3 under-8's and would love to take them on holiday in the April school holidays - I'm hoping to find somewhere on the Norfolk coast - perhaps a decent caravan site with no chav's and entertainment for the kids? Anyone got any ideas on places/costs etc? My budget is limited but am hoping someone out there knows somewhere good!
Thanks!
Jx

you say your budget is limited so instead of going through the travel agents, try this website (www.directholidayhomes.co.uk), we used them last year, its a site where caravan owners advertise privately, we saved £600 by doing it this way, there are loads and loads to choose from, they are on big parks (most of them), but they just cut out the middle man basically, and most include the tickets and everything that the brochure normally would, they can be 100% trusted, and they have pictures of their caravans, with all other details and prices (so you know before you ring them), and they cater for the whole of the uk (norfolk too), good luck, have a great holiday where ever you go xx

Norfolk is not a cheap place. If I were you I would look further North. Somewhere like Skegness or even Cleethorpes. At least the fish and chips are cheap. All caravan sites these days are filled with people trying to get a cheap family holiday and no matter where you go you will get a certain shall we say lager lout/chav element. Actually Butlins is not that bad a place to go either. The entertainment is thrown in and the only cash you need is for food and drinks. You can go full board at Butlins which is very cost effective. The accomodation is basic but it is clean, and you don't have to pay for electricity.

Pinewoods @ Wells is the best campsite I've found and the prices in April should still be pretty reasonable. Plus it's not far from loads of activities if it pours down. Have fun.
