If a woman had an abortion and the old pig men where stoneing her for it, do you think Jesus would have said" go and abort no more" ?

Abortion IS bad. The people involved shouldn't have been so careless in the first place. Not only were they not sensible enough to abstain, but they weren't even sensible enough to use birth control. What if instead of getting pregnant they got AIDS or something?

As bad as abortion is, though, it isn't the root of the problem. Un-planned pregnancy is just a symptom of something far more nefarious. Attempting to cure the disease by treating a sore is a big waste of time. If you wish to finally get through to the people, I suggest you treat the heart of the illness.

yes, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Those men today are not looking at their own sin just like those men did not look at their sin when they were stoning the woman in biblical times. Jesus forgives sin, but gives us who sin a warning not to sin anymore. Abortion is a sin!

Yes, abortion is wrong. The Lord has said, "You shall not murder," (Exodus 20:13). The life that is growing within the mother is a child, a baby. The Bible looks at the life in the womb as a child.: Exodus 21:22 says, "And if men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him; and he shall pay as the judges decide,"(1) (NASB).

Lion of Judah..... Thank you
You did my research for me.....

The bible does not consider an as-yet-inborn-child a human being.

The passage that 'Lion of Judah' uses is the proof of that.
An 'Eye for an Eye' remember?

If the bible had considered the abortion of an unborn child to be murder, then one or both of the struggling men would have been killed shortly afterwards.

The reason why the bible allows the father to choose a punishment is that you cannot choose a punishment greater than the crime or you face the judges yourself and you risk having your initial claim thrown out entirely.
