'Get rid of hair'? as in 'shave off'? Go ahead..

If it's a permanent colour, it may cause issues, as the new colour may not show as vividly as intended. Try buying a so-called cleansing shampoo with fruit acids, that should remove some of the dye.

I always liked reddish tones, as they add a little pizzazz, but what suits you really depends on your skin colour etc. Your hairdresser will know exactly what matches your features and will give helpful advice. All the best and good luck!

You cannot dye over black hair no matter how light of a color you want to go. There is a product called un-color and Sally's carry it in their hair color section or you can go to any beauty supply store and check for it in their color section.

It comes in a blue and white packet and you can mix it with either water or volume 20 depending on the color you're trying to remove, but the package will give you better direction. That's what I had to use about 10 years ago when I tried to remove the black dye I had placed in my hair. I tried stripping it with bleach, and even dying it blonde but it only resulted in my roots being bleached blonde; the black hair remained black!!!

So instead of frying out your hair trying to strip it; just uncolor it... you'll see the black coming out as you're washing your hair.

Well darker hair colors is always the hardest to dye over, , so i would suggest a light color cause any other dark color will not show over the black, I would go for a red or blonde and if you dont feel comfortable with this answer your stylist will definitly let you know whats best. Good Luck!

go salon and have your hair stripped to get out the black/blue hair.

you can actually ask people questions about hair color because we havent seen you and dont know what'll suit you.

But if you just want an opinion what would look nice try chestnut with blonde highlights

You can buy colour stripper from boots/superdrug which will remove a lot of the colour. Then you can re-dye it with different colour and it will work

Try going as close to your natural as you can.
You should be able to get close if you're going to a salon and having a professional do it.
Other than that I think a nice chestnutty brown is always really pretty.

They can strip your hair and recolor it any color you want. I went from my natural, blond, to black. I had it stripped and they recolored it back to blond. Hope this helps.
