But love is blind and lovers cannot see
The pretty follies that themselves commit;
For if they could, Cupid himself would blush

Love is not blind, and thank goodness! I knew exactly what I was getting when I married this girl - a pearl of great price. That love is not blind is evidenced by the fact that I seriously considered others who were far more physically attractive, and rejected them in favor of my pearl. Diamonds are pretty but cold as ice, while pearls are lustrous and warm and only improve when they're worn. I shall worshipfully wear my pearl to the end of our days!

Totally, she may not be perfect, but on the international 1-10 scale of hotness she's a good 7.85, (she doesn't need to ever know this but I can zoom out a bit and take a careful objective look at times). It's fine, I just won't be seen in public with anyone less than a 5.5 on the scale.

probably not because the truth of what they are really doing would be more open to my eyes. there is no telling what your lover is really doing no matter how much you trust someone or how much they say you can trust them. but because love is blind people overlook things, trust more, and love so deep that they would never think anything was wrong or going on...if love wasn't blind no one would be in love or in a relationship! everyone would just date and have sex
