Power is defined as The rate at which work is done, expressed as the amount of work per unit time and commonly measured in units such as the watt and horsepower.
Given that I take in about 2500 Calories (kilocalories) of energy in food each day. This means I use up energy at a rate of (power) of no more than 2500 kilocalories/day. Using the fact that 1 calorie = 4.2 joules, and the appropriate time conversions show that this rate of energy usage is limited to about 100 watts.
The Sun on the other hand converts 600 million tons of hydrogen into 596 million tons of helium every second. The extra 4 million tons is converted into energy. According to special relativity the 4 million tons is multiplied by the speed of light squared. The power the sun gives off is then about 40,000 watts for every square inch of its surface.
So yes the sun gives off far more power than myself.

Why do we keep seeing this same stupid question time after time. Do they let that many retards have access to computers. Why do they let them out of the cage. You would think their keepers would be able to control them better. BB
