Deptorted. Those Muslims are a great threat to this country. I am a Hindu, and I find the Muslims barbaric! I mean, a religion that is taught to make fun of the weak!? To think that all non-believers of bloody f-ing allah are Satan?!

What do you think?

I guess most will depend on how tolerant they are of other relegions. I don't have a problem tolerating other relegions until they infringe on my rights. I don't mind people having no relegion as long as they don't deny me the right to practice mine. Lately it seems there's more a push to get rid of relegion or replace it with another...that's not relegious freedom. I'm finding it upsetting when a Muslim is a cab driver and refuses to drive the paying people who are drunk or carrying alcohol on them, un-opened, to take home. I'm not talking rowdy drunks who are abusive....just someone who's being responsible and calling a cab because they may be too tipsy. Alcohol is against their relegion. That's fine. No one is making them drink or do anything illegal. But it crosses the line when their morals infringe on anothers right. Especially when it's a paid service. If you can't do the job......you should find another. In Europe they are trying to make non- Muslims wear the head gear. Like a teacher who teaches in the public school but there are muslim students. No.....not freedom there. If it's a Muslim school and you want to teach and their requirement for non-Muslim teachers is to wear the gear........fine. Otherwise they should show some tolerance. If the whole darn society is "offensive" to them to where they can't stand it at all......then they shouldn't live here and should be deported. It's a fine line. We have staunch Christians that cross the line as well. If God or Allah or whomever is the final judge.....it's his job to judge us and give the final punishment....not some group placing judgement on us.

This little story sums up my feelings pretty well....

Three strangers strike up a conversation in the airport passenger lounge in Bozeman, Montana, while awaiting their respective flights. One is an American Indian passing through from Lame Deer. Another is a Cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show, and the third passenger is a fundamentalist Arab student, newly arrived at Montana State University from the Middle East. Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two Westerners learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim and the conversation falls into an uneasy lull. The cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face. The wind outside is blowing tumbleweeds around, and the old windsock is flapping; but still no plane comes. Finally, the American Indian clears his throat and softly he speaks, "At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few."The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, "Once my people were few," he sneers, "and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?" The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a smooth drawl, "That's 'cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet, but I do believe it's a-comin'.

Hmm. I don't think that the question really makes sense. lol

Christians are not commanded to be tolerant-- only to love. There's a difference.

I will always love a sinner, but I will acknowledge their sin, and will not tolerate it. As a Christian, believing that sin separates us from God, and that separation from God is hell, then I would not be loving if I allowed sinful practices to continue without saying something about it.

I will never persecute or abuse in any manner someone who believes differently than I, and I wouldn't force what I believe on them. I would pray for them, talk to them, and encourage them, but ultimately the decision has to be their own.

So in that sense, Christians can't "tolerate" Muslims, but we certainly shouldn't call for their deporation.

I hope that's clear-- if not, please email me-- jerjessie@yahoo.com.

have a good day!

It doesn't (or shouldn't) matter what the Christians say of another group's beliefs or customs. If said beliefs and customs violate the laws of the land, or infringe on another's access to their rights and freedoms, then it is justified that they be removed or imprisoned. Not because of their beliefs, but because that is how the laws are written.
It wasn't really illegal to be a Communist in the U.S. in the 1950's. Preaching the forced overthrow of the American government, however, was treason and punishable by law. Bit of a loophole there, but same thing applies. They are not punished for their beliefs themselves, but because their beliefs conflicted with the laws of the land.
And our land says freedom of religion.

Should Muslims be tolerant to Christians and Americans no matter where they live?
Yes, but they won't.

i am all for being tolerant. however, when they try to change the laws to favor them instead of being equal, am i supposed to accept that? contrary to their beliefs, they are not better than i am. i can be tolerant and i will. but when they aren't tolerant of me, then why should i be tolerant towards them?

i think they should be deported if they commit crimes and then say it's okay for them to commit crimes because they're under sharia law. because if they want to live under sharia law, they can go to a country that practices that law instead of bringing it here.

oh, as for american born muslims, whatever, same deal. they're fine in my book, unless they start trying to change our laws to favor them.

I would say if they don't believe in policing other peoples actions and thier religion doesn't control the governments laws. And they believe these things I would let them stay. If they prove to be anti-freedom, western. Boot-em. I would boot the cabbies not picking up people with booze or dogs. Or we should get all Christian Cabbies to not pick up Muslums until they convert. See how they like it.

Are you suggesting to deport people based upon their religious beliefs? Why would one group have the right to deport another group?
