Perhaps the seasons have changed, maybe winter has not yet arrived, but there are flowers out already, mother nature is not usually wrong.

Officially, winter is already here (started on December 21st or the Winter Solstice). However, current weather cycles are showing a warmer tendency at this time. The good news is that there are cold fronts expected to move in soon and bring back the accustomed winter weather with it.

By the way, I gather you aren't from Colorado asking this question ... you might want to ask why they are getting all of your snow.

Here in Australia I wouldnt' say that Winter skipped by us. It was terribly cold but we didn't have much rain at all. It was very dry.

I think the seasons are changing and not due to global warming either. It's the season of the planet. We have been through Winter (ice age), we have seen Spring and now we are going through the Summer. Long, hot and dry.

Winter is alive and well in Denver. They are so lucky. We have had about 3 inches of snow all winter, not good for the coming year. Who ever doesn't believe in global warming, raise your hand!

Winter was just a sort of mild non-entity this year. Seems like we're having a merging autumn/winter/spring
