IS IT A SINE WAVE (conditioned) generator??
I hope to GOD it is.....
Most cheap < $8000 generators are square wave generators with little line conditioning......
And those will stress any piece of electronic equipment...
If your plasma is still working....you're lucky

It would depend on your generator. During power outages I operate my house with a Generac 5500 watt generator, including television, computer, furnace, fridge, freezer, and so on. The output is acceptable for each item and I've never experienced a failure due to generator use.
