When I went to the dodge dealership last year when the 2006 were brand new you could get a R/T hemi one for like $35,000. Now that it is 2007 does anyone know the prices of the 2006 ones, I want one but want to go no higher then like mid 20's and was told that it was possible, just wanting others opinions, Thanks!

mid 20's for a brand new charger, only if it's an sxt, an r/t starts around 30 and goes up.

For a 2006 model, a used 2006 should be in the mid 20's, but now your looking at used cars, you'll have to do the carfax thing, mechanic thing. Just save up a couple of thousand extra, you'll get a brand new one, where you can pick the colors etc.

You will be lucky to get into a NEW 06 Dodge Charger R/T with the 5.7 Hemi in the mid-20's. You are more likely to get into the V6 3.5 High Output SXT Charger for the price you want.

However, if you keep looking around you maybe lucky to get into a no-option, cloth seats Charger R/T in the Mid to upper 20's.

Another option is that you should keep your eyes and ears peeled for a lease back or used Charger R/T and then you maybe able to get into one in the mid-20's.
Anyways nice choice of car Good Luck

Sorry, you are fighting the sheer weight of numbers Chrysler simply charges much more than any dealer dealer can discount a NEW Charger R/T into the mid -20's. You might try to get to know who has 2006 DEMO's left and try to catch them at months end if there are any left in your area and your state does not require the dealer to title demonstrators. Good luck.
