I would study both. It is also best to get as much studying in as you can before an exam. Review review review. The only way to learn is to study. When I took pyschology in college I would just study study study. I learned that much of pyschology is easy as long as you understand it. Once you understand the concepts, then all you need to do it memorize the rest. Good luck!!

If I had an exam on Wed then I'd study Tues night, or Wed before the exam. If I had an exam Thurs then I'd study Wed night, or Thurs before the exam. (Your question was not worded well).

But that's just me...I've never needed much study time. Some people need to study from the time the material is presented, up to exam time.

one must prepare well for exams, if you just finished an exam on wed-night and you have another one on thursday, you must rest and internalize what you have studied for the following exam.
