Can anyone tell me what's acremonium falciforme?

It's some kinda pathogenic fungi for all i know now. If anyone can tell me how it affects human, the symptoms and such, i'd really appreciate it. Or perhaps anyone has a link to a good site on fungi?

Yes it is a fungus. Here's a site with some info on different fungi. There are also medical atlases of different classes of pathogenic organisms, relatively easy to find on the web.
