It would be a better idea for her to go on a friend/friend basis. Things that are jumped into too quickly usually fall the quickest because there is no strategy or planning from the get-go. Some, however, do turn out for the best but it is definitely better to see if things could actually work on a bf/gf basis
I would say however that it seems that he would be interested in her as well if he knows her life story.

If this guy is available, I would think it would be cool if the girl asked him to be her Valentine. Not many females ask guys to be their Valentine. Just make sure he is available and not already in a relationship somehow so she does not feel hurt if he rejects her for that reason. Also, just make sure she knows and is mature enough to understand if he does reject her and just wants to stay friends instead of taking it to the next level, for some reason, that she will be ok with that. But, all in all, I do think that would be a cute way. There is also a site you can get to on playboy.com that allows women to send her Valentine a pair of boxers and some chocolate I believe with a note and have it delivered to him. It is really cool. Good luck!

There is nothing silly about asking someone you don't know very well to be a valentine. That is what it's all about, if your mate has a huge crush just tell her to go 4 it. The best way to get a guys attention is 2 act confident, tell your mate to just be herself and approach him. Odds are he probably feels the same.

There is still one month last. Find a chance to meet each other, and to see what will going on. In my own opinion, I think it is not silly, at least, your friend will not feel regret any more. She make attempt, no matter success or not.

you be attentive to, I examine someplace that in case you assert "i think of i admire you!" with the main important smile on your face like that isn't any super deal, then it doubles the probabilities of success! commonly people get scared if there are emotions because of the fact they think of they might desire to be severe and tell the different person with the utmost secrecy and that is embarrassing or too own or something yet once you're taking the rigidity off, issues will fall in place.

If she can handle the rejection (if it happens) then she should go ahead & ask him on valentines. I think it would be easier though if she did some detective work & found out what feelings he has for her first.

Sure. The activity alone will get them to know more of each other but warning, your friend might end up hurt if the guy rejects her on the outing.

I was in a similar situation with this girl once...so this is what I did.
I left a dozen roses on her car on valentines day and left a note saying: "One day you will meet prince charming and he will make my roses look dry, but until then, I shower you as a temporary filler until he comes along". Needless to say, we are now dating...
