IM 48 FEMALE AND OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS I HAVE BEEN MIXING UP LETTERS AND NUMBERS WHEN I WRITE. SOMETIMES I PUT LETTERS FROM THE NEXT WORD IN TE WORD I AM WRITING. ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON? ITS GETTING WORSE. I HAVE TO CHART AT WORK AND AM CONSTANTLY HAVING TO SCRATCH AND INITIAL ERRORS AS I CANT ERASE. HELP! YOOPERGAL

You probably always had this problem but was never diagnosed.You can get help for this problem.

you might be trying to multitaske too much ,too much in the mind all at once try to slow down and only think about what you are doing at one time ,you may actually be just thinking ahead of yourself ,try relaxation it might help if not you may need to see a professional and get help or be medically examined to see if there is an underlaying problem ,it could be the begining of something a little more serious

You should really see a neurologist. It seems something is giong on in your left parietal lobe. I assume that you work in a medical setting, since you are charting. Talk to the speech pathologist for ways to compensate for the problem.

fortunately this problem can be overcome with concentration skills.

Usually a 5 min break (i.e.) do something else for a few minutes and then go back to what you were having problems with.
