I m 30 yo single and ready to be a parent. I m not ready for marriage thats why I want to adopt a kid. I got some info for foster care programs but thats complicated and a private agency could charge me up to 30000.
Any adopting parent can help out.

Actually the cheapest route to adopting is through foster care. Tell your social worker that you want a child that is able to be adopted and they will do their best to put you with one. My neighbors have adopted two boys through foster care and it was a fairly easy process. Good Luck!

Foster care is the best route to go. But you need to make it clear that you want small children only (to minimize trauma they have had already), and let the case worker know that you want to have a child with the possibility of adoption.
Also, have you ever thought of mentoring, or what they call the Big Brother/ Big Sister programs? That gives you a chance to be with a less fortunate child that would truly appreciate the time you have with them. Its a start to see if you are truly ready for a lifetime commitment to another.
Being a parent is not easy, especially alone. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, & many many sacrafices! I was a single mom here of a 8 & 1 year old. It was so hard to do. Balancing Day Care, School schedules, functions, work... you name it. Just be sure that you know what you are getting into before you sign on the dotted line. Start Slow & take Baby Steps!!!
Best of luck to you & hope you heed the thoughts given here.

Hi there !!!

What a wonderful thing to want to adopt a child !!

I have heard that certain state agencies will help you adopt , at no charge in many cases, the only thing is that I heard that the children available are not infants.

Many people only want a baby, not giving the older children a chance.

I wish you the best of luck in your search !!!!!

Love light and peace

Hi

Instead of adopting i know this is going to sound weird but have you thought of becoming a foster mum cause there are heaps of kids out there that need people like you that needs someone just to love and care for them

i become followed, yet in consumer-friendly words by way of my father. the only ingredient i needed my father and mom might want to have carried out in yet differently become tell me. It become continuously a secret and finding out from others become hurtful. the best section about being followed become it opened my eyes to adoption myself! My husband and that i have followed 2 little ones now and they have been a blessing in our lives. in an attempt to regulate a trend from the previous, I confer with my little ones about their adoptions even although they're nonetheless very youthful. My desire is that it will grow to be portion of our casual verbal change so as that once they have questions, they wont be afraid to ask.
