well first off there is no criteria for one person

each of us have a different opinion what our life partner should be
and the height weight thing is BS what you picture may not always be who they are.

just find someone with interests that you have
find someone who compliments you not contradicts you

for me i love my love for making me laugh and for looks well i always liked the xlg muscular type but he is the big biker/hippie type
he completes me

and as for marriage well i will never do it again i don't need a paper to tell me he can put a ring on my finger and tell me he will love and taker care of me forever and i don't need that paper to get a checking account or even take his name the only thing that paper is good for is maken lawyers money

You know, I thought about it a lot. I know a few good looking girls and I was attracted to a few. But then when I meet someone who does not fit into my criteria and I still keep on thinking about her, I love to talk to her. I wonder: is there a criterion for your soulmate? I guess not.

don't be in a hurry to marry, it's not like it used to be in the old days. you have to respect someone for who they are ,but if you don't respect yourself you can't respect another, same with love.when you have been with someone and have gotten to know them, ie.. what makes them smile , laugh, cry....and all you want to do is see them happy and you are always thinking of them, then you are in love.but now a days you get to that point with someone and it becomes a chocking match. then some dog in heat comes by and the hormones get twisted.....

Common goals and plans that mesh, mutual respect and honor of wants, needs, desires and it doesn't hurt if the partner cranks up your libido either.
