she goes to bed at normal times but wakes up usually around 3am and cant go back to sleep. now she wakes up at twelve and goes back to bed and wont wake up till 7pm. this has been going on since the 2nd of january

Is she having nightmares? One of my daughters about that age was having "growing pains " in her legs. she would dream that she was being pulled by her legs by something. Maybe your daughter is having a similar reaction. Talk to her about why she can't sleep.

If she had a long vacation from school she could have disrupted her schedule and now it is confused. There might be something in the room that is waking her up. Could she have anxiety? Maybe she only wants to sleep when someone else is awake because she feels safer. I would say a warm bath or shower before bed. A fan or some soothing music in the room, and make sure she is comfortable. Not too many blankets or not too cold. And make sure that there are optimal conditions in the rest of the house. If my TV in my bedroom is too loud the kids wake up.

Yh ok nicely really groundings not gunna artwork she sez she's to previous cuz she is conscious she's not too previous is fearful of being spanked so i imagine supply her the punishment that she's fearful of and discipline her practice her who's boss

try some white noise such as a fan at bedtime...blue lights also create a calm atomsphere...talk to a sleep doctor.

it sounds like growing pains.or maybe she is beeing woken up by somthing outside.its best to talk top her about it,but most children go thru strange sleep patterns.good luck finding out.
