first you have to see if the boils are filled with puss, or a mixture of puss. Whats happening, is there has been an increase of anti-biotic resistant forms of staph infections going around the nation today. (we have had two of our household being victim to these problamatic, and painful cellulitis). You really should go to the doctor, get on some Bactrim (the only thing that seems to combat it, if caught early enough). keep the areas clean, and do not, I REPEAT DO NOT SQUEEZE THEM, instead cover with hot washcloth, as many times as you can throughout the day.

Sounds more like you're haveing a reaction to whatever you're using to help it heal. Go get it checked out at your doc and buy some Tattoo Goo. It's got all natural ingrediants and will help heal the tattoo plus the red "boils" your talking about. You can find it at your tattoo shop or on their website.
Hope this helps and good luck!

It doesnt seem like an ifection. If your tattoo is PUSSING, RED AROUND THE TATTOO, RED STREAKS GOING UP OFF THE TATTOO,THE TATTOO WOULD FEEL "HOT", AND VERY SWOLLEN.
your probably using a&d or some other ointment that you should NOT use on a fresh tattoo. If i was you, i would stop using all ointments and lotions, let it dry up, let let it heal up, Dont touch it, keep it clean no more then twice a day. morning and night cleaning
and it should be fine. If you feel like you need to see a Dr. then do it, but it doesnt really sound like an infection to me. If you do see dr, DONT let them give you any ointments.

Definitely get it checked out. If it is an infection antibiotics should cure it in no time. It could also be an allergic reaction to a component in a particular ink. That can also be fixed in no time. But go before it gets worse.

I'm not a doctor but it sounds like either an infection or you're allergic to the dye used. Definitely go to a doc to confirm.

It could be a number of things like an allergic reaction, dirty needles, bad ink, or *** suspected-an infection. I definitely recommend going to a dermotologist because if u go to the doc they'll probably send you there if they get stumped. Good luck

Check with a doctor but it sounds like you are allergic to the cream you are putting on the tat.
