I previously posted a question about the answers posted by many muslims when faced with constructive and educated criticism of their religion. My point regarded the inanity of some of the answers, which absolutely proved my point 100%. And I quote from Leo H

''U R NOT SO ADVANCED IN 21ST CENTURY TO SLEEP WITH UR OWN SISTER OR DAUGHTER''

How is that a response to my criticism of a vicous stoning to death? Does it defy belief?

I know. I've reported it.

Yes, he's annoying, but what can we do? You will NEVER get a straightforward, intellectually honest answer from Muslims here. They will NEVER admit anything about Islam is wrong.

EDIT: Mysterywoman, that's the fatal flaw in your way of thinking. You don't THINK for yourself. You let Islam tell you what to think, and you look for any explanation or reason for your Islamic thoughts as a defense. And however ludicrous and illogical these defenses are, they will be perfectly logical to you, because your beliefs are a film over your eyes that obscure your view of things like THIS that would be repulsive and hateful to any human being in their right mind.

And Leo and Onewhosubmits share your fallacy. Stop being such a blind, mindless follower. Base your beliefs on facts instead of your facts on beliefs. I can practice a religion and still be a good B.S. detector.

It relies upon on many stuff. The compass will factor to magnetic north no remember if it rather is not interfered with by potential of yet another tension. The metallic of a belt buckle can pass the needle to an incorrect place. electric powered fields, metallic, magnets will all reason a deviation in the needle.

If one person gave you a response that does not make sense, it does not mean that ALL Muslims are not intelligent.
I cannot understand the lack of mentality of people who state: "They will NEVER admit anything about Islam is wrong." Why would I even THINK that anything about Islam is wrong if I am convinced 100% that it IS THE PERFECT RELIGION?!
I cannot find fault with my Allah, because He is free of ALL faults. So too is the Qu'raan free of ALL faults.

What do you expect to get from a donkey but a kick. Tell me you weren't only expecting intelligent answers to a perfectly good question. Don't let people like Leo H deter you from asking such questions in future. Well done.

One cant expect Muslims to be open to any suggestion different from Islam. They R the most intolerant lot.
Unless nonmuslims show that even they can be equally fanatical muslims wont improve.

It was a punishment performed in a lot of primitive races. I don't know of many that still carry it out. (In fact, I only know of 1 example in recent history)

I agree with the stoning to death, God has prescribed it for how can you consider yourself greater than him?

[024:002] The fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by God, if you believe in God and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. [This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime (illegal sex), but if married persons commit it (illegal sex), the punishment is to stone them to death, according to God's Law].

(V.24:2)
a) Narrated Abu Hurairah [May God Be Pleased with Him]: God's Messenger [Peace Be Upon Him] judged that the unmarried person who was guilty of illegal sexual intercourse be exiled for one year and receive the legal punishment (i.e., be flogged with one hundred stripes).
[Sahih Al-Bukhari, 8/6833 (O.P.819)]
b) Narrated Jâbir bin 'Abdullâh Al-Ansâri [May God Be Pleased with Him]: A man from the tribe of Bani Aslam came to God's Messenger [Peace Be Upon Him] and informed him that he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and he bore witness four times against himself. God's Messenger [Peace Be Upon Him] ordered him to be stoned to death as he was a married person.
[Sahih Al-Bukhari, 8/6814 (O.P.805)]
c) See (V.4:25).

This is the correct belief, you have to realize this is preventative punishment, much better than todays 'correctional' systems where you are in my opinion rewarded for crime. The effect this has on society, by preventing adultery, for fear of death is what American society needs. You are creating many broken families where the children are not getting enough attention and then end up doing other bad things.

I have just woken up for Dawn Prayer, and I will be glad to answer an query your have on Islam in an intellectual and scholarly manner with proofs.

Peace Be With You

I wouldn't give it a second thought. Unfortunately, when you're dealing with a tried and true zealot, the only thing that makes sense is more fanaticism. They will never understand...
