There is no explanation.

1. The scale is a liar. Physics tells us that weight is a relative term not specific and its based on gravity so the instruments that measure weight can give any reading for reasons unexplained. Bottom line, scales arent accurate and you will beat yourself up over something you have no control over.

2. Which leads to number 2. Our bodies, especially female bodies can shift weight for unexplained reasons because of hormones. In most cases you cant control it. Everybody has different hormonal functions no 2 people are the same. Hormones are what can make you burn less or more fat, retain or eliminate water from your system or speed or slow your metabolism.

3. Which leads to number 3. You need a good plan and to stick with it. Weighing yourself everyday isnt measuring progress its defeating your efforts by psychologically telling you that what you are doing is not sufficient.

Could be your metabolism.

Simple things like getting plenty of sleep, drinking plenty of water and regular light exercise have a dramatic effect of weightloss. As it is you probably havrnt eaten for about 10-12 hours by the time you have breakfast, which gives the body more time to burn calories off without you consuming more. If you think about it people who are dieting to loose weight, would get a shock to see 3lbs gone overnight, yet weekly weighloss may be a substantial amount, that doesnt get noticed during the week, yet it has to come off at some point. I am dieting and lost 5lb last week, mean average of 0.7 of a pound per day. The way we think can often play tricks on us as we dont think it is possible, but medically and theorectically it is.

This is mostly due to hydration levels.
You can sweat up to two pints during a nights sleep.
(remember, one pint of water weighs a pound and a quarter).

It's not hard to change weight during the day by a couple of pounds due to hydration levels alone. Take into account you will have burned off about 700 Calories worth of stored energy (glycogen / fat) and it's not really surprising you lost weight during the night.

when you sleep your body dehydrates which causes you to lose water weight. everybody weighs less in the morning then when they went to bed.

Try SimpleKibble. It's a Kibble for Humans. You can get it at www.simplekibble.com.

you might not believe me but the truth is you lose lose weight when you sleep. i read that your body uses up energy to keep the body stable and rejuvenated while you sleep... so yeah!! it varies with different people though (as in the amount of weight lost)

You are suppose to weigh yourself in the morning and that is your true weight.

It could possibly be something as simple as you were wearing less clothing when you weighed yourself this morning, sweat in your sleep, or you wet the bed.

Bcause that is roughly how much energy you use up in your sleep plus the amount of water you sweat out.
