just out of curiosity. If a guy gets out of a 3year relationship and tries to quickly jump into relationships and gets rejected by several girls and finally settles with a co-worker, is that considered rebound?

If she would have been your only choice, it wouldn't be rebound. However, either it is a rebound relationship or you are one heck of a co-dependent. You have insecurity problems and should go to either a shrink or support group for those with compulsive behaviors. Really, if you cannot be single and must be in a relationship, you need help. The 12 step program is great for those of us who are not alcoholics. You could find information on this program and it will help you.
