Sign the petition online, and try to save the life of a 13 year old girl (Zhilla) in Iranian custody. She has already been given 55 lashes of the whip, and could face stoning to death under islamic law.

So do you muslims agree with the treatment of this child, as taught in the koran, or do you condemn it? Straight answers yes or no, I don't want huge sections of the koran copied and pasted.

Does her crime make a difference? She is THIRTEEN for God's sake, and faces stoning to death.

Sharia law, as practised in Iran, is barbaric and rather sick. I would like to see it dismantled. I won't stand up for anyone who supports it. However, neither will I stand up for some of the bigotted comments left by some idiots here. Muslims are not the cause of evil.

I did a quick bit of research and found the link to the page below. Apparently Zhilla was whipped for having sex with her older brother. He made her pregnant. They whipped her just days before she gave birth. Unacceptable and evil law. A 13 year old in this country found in those circumstances would be treated as a victim - not a criminal.

Iran leaks nasty stories like this all the time. It is an unpleasant land, run by fascists. In a sane world Iran would be shunned by every country and cut off from ALL trade. They stone kids - what will they do with the nuclear arms they desire?

I watched a video of a stoning. I note that they wrap the victim in a sheet and stood them in a hole in the ground. I imagine this helps to de-humanise the victim - much easier for the idiots to stone a shape rather than a person. Cowards.

I wanted to sign the petition, but the link was broken.

No child should be whipped I don't care what law or any religion states that they have the right to punish a child in this manner i would never agree to this kind of punishment . If the child has done wrong ,yes i agree she should be punished but not in a violent way.

I will sign the the petition once i have read it fully and agree.

I'm not Muslim, but I don't think that any child should be treated like that. She is 13, therefore should not be held completely responsible for her actions as she is still underage in most countries.
No matter what her crime was or is. but
Out of curiosity, what was her crime?

Well u failed to tell us that she has a child from wedlock and it's not even clear if she is married to someone else..
U don't think that is a crime??
http://www.zhilaa.com/english/press-rNo11.htm

well she is 13 and young but she ain't young to have sex AND a child !!
If she is married and this is an act of adultry she should be stoned but if she is not married then she should be lashed.. so what is the verdict?? u say lashing then could face stoning.. stoning is only for married ppl so make up ur mind is she or is she not MARRIED ?
Actually u failed to tell us she committed incest with her 15 year old brother and had i child from him!!
What pity do u want?? for him or for her?? this is disgusting !!!
As long as her tiny mind can think of sex then i guess she should pay for her sin.. and then she will be cleansed from her sin for eternity !!
Same goes for the 15 year old brother !!!
http://www.zhilaa.com/english/press-rNo1.htm

I know most of u feel that these crimes are harsh but u don't look at the big picture.. when u punish the criminals harshly others will think a thousand times before committing a crime.. it won't come easily to them AND u should look at crime rates in these countries and compare it with non-punishing societies and then u will know the difference. and once this person gets his punishment on earth after repenting he will not suffer from this sin in the afterlife because God will not punish him twice and he will be cleansed from this sin once and for all.

I am sorry for her and her brother but as long as they commited a sin they should pay for it so sorry i'm not signing no petition.. only God can save them wheather u like it or not !!

Unless she was raped in that case the boy should be the only one to be punished cuz it was not her fault !!

NO, BECAUSE I THINK ITS PHONY

THAT IS NOT ISLAMIC LAW, THE ONLY TIME CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IS ALLOWED IS WHEN MUREDER IS COMMITED ON PURPOSE. IF THIS IS ACTUALLY TRUE OF COURSE. STONING IS NOT ISLAMIC, AGAIN IF THIS STORY IS TRUE. THE MEDIA HAS TOLD SOME MANY LIVES OVER THE COURSE OF FIVE YEARS, AND SO MANY WEBSITES LIE THAT I DON'T BELIEVE MUCH WHAT PEOPLE SAY OF MUSLIMS COUNTRIES.
