It can depend why your teeth are discolored. Not enough brushing, genetics, medications (like some antibiotics), what you eat and drink can all cause discoloration. If normal brushing doesn't improve things visit the dentist for a clean and advice. Sometimes whiteners help but many products don't work well apparently.
Some really good suggestions are at the link below.

Just like everyone has rightly said,i would want to confirm first the following before recommending any way forward;
1.Would like to know if you were born with discolored teeth.
But if your answer to this question is yes,then the 2 solution will be to bleach or cap your teeth;but if the discoloration was as a result of some thing you're eating or drinking then you could use good tooth paste(crest strep,maccleans,colgate amongst others),also a very good tooth polish will gradually wear out the discoloration.
Better still you could consult your dentist for bleaching of your teeth,though i wouldn't advise you to remove your enamel in the process,but if you have a genuine reason to do so then go ahead.
Wish you the very best in your quest but don't forget to ask your dentist first for advice.

Use whitening toothpaste which is available, if that doesn't work you can get the dentist to give you a whitening treatment. If all else fails there's expensive caps. Depends how discoloured they are.

Occasionally brushing with baking soda and peroxide helps. Also have you tried Crest Whitestrips? They work great.
