I am a single mother who has no financial support or back up. I am self employed and provide for my daughter with a lot of hours of work. I love my job and feel it is my calling to help people. What I need is someone to help me out when I have no paycheck for a while. I always get myself out of it, but I am so sad when I have to tell my little girl that we don't have food or can't do something until we get a paycheck. Don't get me wrong, I am not lazy, or a money grubber, just need help once in a while. Seems everytime I get a check I have to play catch up with my bills and can't enjoy any extra. My mother passed when I was 18, and I am proud to say that I have made my way with no help since then. I just get tired of the fight sometimes and would love someone to ask for help. I have never asked for a handout, and don't qualify for any financial or rent help since I am self employed and have a hard time proving my income. Anyway thank you for caring

Dear Sk

This is wonderful. This something I had posted on Yahoo sometime back. This is the only way of giving back to society. It need not be some grand idea. Let's start with the simple maid who works in our homes, she must be having problems. Sponsor her childs education and inform her that you want to make a difference in her life. She will ever be grateful to you. It could be the cobbler down the road who is hungy. It could be the sweeper, the watchman in your locality. Dont look for opportunity - start outright. Only be cautious to make sure that people dont take you for a ride.

You do not need to ask this question. If you really want to give financial support to the needy , go to the poor countries and poor families and there you give all your money for their financial support.

It is easy to support or give things, but helping others is a different story.
Why don't you support them by giving them a job or helping them to find a job.
