Depends on what you are trying to market (and whether you want the academic version - if so suggest looking in Principles of Marketing).

The structure below seems to work quite well - with all the component parts being equally as important.

Introduction
Overview of performance to date
Key Issues and Opportunities
Competitor Analysis
Assumptions and Sensitivities
Vision
Objectives
Target Market
Strategy (Summary, Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Internal)
Activity & Plans (Summary and then detail)
Measurement Criteria
KPI’s (Key performance Indicators)
Time Plan
Budget
Profit & Loss Statement

AIU Business Management and Leadership I am having a hard time getting this assignment down on paper. I know what I want to say but can't put it ito worlds. Do you have a copy of a similar manual? If so use it as a guide. Go back to the previous assignments and use those as a guide aswell. Hopefully this helps you a little.

price, promotion, competition, target audience, the product, manufacturing, distribution. it kind of depends on the scale of the marketing plan as to how in depth it needs to be. a SWOT analysis could be included (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats).....can be based on the compnay as a whole or just on the product.
