I have handpainted a few old cow's skulls and mounted them on polished wooden shields. They look clean and shiny and I have painted native-american looking deisgns on them, I have left some of the bone exposed, and the bone is a bright white because I bleached it. I am going to take them to an art fair and sell them, how much should I charge for them?

anywhere from 20 to 50 bucks depends on how good they look.

I'd start with at least $50, this question also depends on the area you're going to be selling, I suppose.

Obviously, you can charge more if you're in a large metropolitan area. It sounds like you put a lot of time and work into them, too.

A quick search on Ebay showed painted cow skulls ranging anywhere from $10.00 to over $300. Of course, not everything's sold in that range either. If you use the advanced search tool at ebay you can see listings that have ended under that category (I think it goes back 30 days.)

Good luck!

$60. Anything under that, and people won't take it for art.
