This is an aircraft that is able to put a bullet on every inch of a football field. Somali Islamists are fighting their survival now against Somali troops and Ethiopian forces. My question is, why didn't the U.S. intervene and fight them when Islamists were in control in Somalia?

An Ac 130 Gunship is a tactical machine for specific missions. It cannot control the ground from the air like an A 10 thunderebolt.
