Hi,
I brought 2 Burmilla Kittens at 10 weeks old just days before christmas. I noticed that one of them started sneezing a day after we got them. They now both sneeze. We took them to the vet and he isnt really sure why, he said it could be a mild cat flu and to wait it out for a week for it to stop but its been over a week since and there still sneezing. What is it ?? is it a lung infection ? is it cat flu ?? when we got them the breeder said that they havent been vacinated. Other then the sneezing they appear to be generally happy, eating, drinking, play fighting with eachother. I am going to the vets this afternoon but if anyone would like to comment on this I would be grateful.

Kind regards
Emma

What is wrong with that vet??? 10 weeks old and hes telling you to wait it out a week? They should get on some antibiotics before anything worsens. See a different vet, if they should come down with a full blown cold they dont have too much in the way of reserves on their bodies.

As Stephen S. mentioned it would desire to be greater respiratory an infection. If the sneezing is amazingly occasional then this is probable not something to be bothered approximately. yet while this is prevalent, then your kitten would desire to actual get regarded at. beware for her eyes and nostril. in the adventure that your kitten has a gathering of gunk with the aid of the corners of her eyes this is actual an illustration of an infection. this is many times better risk-free than sorry. convey your kitten into the vet asap.
