A Citation 680 Sovereign will set you back anywhere between $15 and $17 million. Currently, there are only 4 for sale, and you would have to wait for a new one, or buy a delivery position. The Sovereign is a popular modal right now.

pdkflyguy is right.
About $15-$17M for a Sovereign. (Depends on if you want it in white or in red....LOL)
He's also right that they are very popular.
Last time I was at Cessna (November) the Sovereign waiting list was long.
If you signed up for one at that time, you wouldn't get delivery until early 2009. (Plus you would have to pay for it all before you even took delivery!)
I have heard that people do sell their delivery slots if you want to move up on the list. I heard that people even trade their delivery slots on eBay!

The cheaper way to do this is to charter it out (sort of like leasing a jet) where you only pay for the hours you fly. This would cost you about $3100/hour approximately (plus fuel and tax) at the company I work for. Why would you want to buy a jet that would immediately depreciate in value? Feel free to ask for me if you would like to get quoted on a trip (I am the only Stacey at the company). See this site: www.bluestarjets.com

It doesn't even matter. Buying a Citation isn't like going out and buying a car.

About $12.5mm. Here is a link to all operating and acquisition costs associated with it: http://www.jets.com/Jets_ResearchJetsListing.aspx?AircraftName=CE-680
