Fly Southwest!

Traffic is not that bad here. Dodger game will be fun, get your tickets online through Dodgers.com or even E-bay for a better price.

Disneyland is worth visiting. Love it there.
Enjoy your stay!

You should fly in to LAX, not John Wayne, that's in orange county Irvine, newport beach area. Without traffic it would take you an hour to get to Dodger stadium and with it, about 3 hrs. Traffic here is unbelievable. O I didn't see disneyland, John Wayne is close to anaheim so you COULD fly in there to if you want to stay near disneyland. The rates at john wayne are at time's cheaper than LAX, especially during those time's when there's less travel (after the holiday's). There's a lot to do in both places, yet it's cheaper in LA. Disneyland is closer to orange county and everything is more expensive there. If you stay in anaheim, which is the city that disneyland is in, there are a lot of hotels by the park. You could go to an angels game which is right down the road from disneyland. If you like hockey, the ducks are right across the street (literally) from angel stadium. There's also Knott's Berry farm, which is an old amusement park, not to far from anaheim, but it's really not worth the money, so I don't really recommend going there. You might want to buy your tickets for the game in advance because they do sell out a lot at anaheim and they sell out a lot more now with the dodgers. I know the game will sell out for sure if they're playing the Giants, because it always does. If you stay in LA, there are a lot of hotels near LAX. You should also visit Hollwood, Santa Monica, and definitely Venice Beach if you've never been here before. The wierdos of the world unite at Venice, so it's an interesting place to go. Good luck. GO DODGERS!

Fly on Southwest, it's the cheapest airline.
You'll need a car.
Dodgers stadium is next to Chinatown. So don't forget to eat dimsum (brunch/lunch) at Empress Pavilion in Chinatown. Eat seafood at Full House in Chinatown. Buy some souvenir tshirts from Chinatown... it's something like 4 for $10.
Buy the pass for both Disneyland Parks and spend at least 1 day in each park.
As for restaurants, you can eat anything around the world here.
If you have a chance... visit Hollywood. Next to it is Thai Town where you can get a good massage for something like $50/hr or less.
Good luck.

I live here so I know that when you fly in cross country you will be tired and traffic here is horrible.. so I would stay in an upscale hotel near the airport. And regarding another answer.. Chinatown is scaryy... If you absolutely want to eat asian food go to little tokyo, near downtown because it is way less seedy. Disneyland is always a good choic but try kotts berry farm and magic Mountain too! hope this helps....
