NEVER EVER GIVE those numbers on the back of your credit card to anyone.! if they phone you
1.even if THEY give YOU!! your card number
2.even if THEY give YOU your name
3.or any other details..
4.even if they say you have been charged by someone, using your card numbers.

****IT's the back numbers THEY WANT!!
they will say''can you just confirm for me the numbers on the back of your c-card!..''on the strip where your signature is...secuirty numbers!

Only give any info IF you are the one who has made the call to the credit card company...never the other way around.
also--- I get an email at least once a week from "Paypal" saying my account has been compromised-- and they give a link to a log-on to correct the information.
They are phishing.
If you get that kind of email about any account you have, DO NOT RESPOND in any way. Instead, go to the company's official log-in (or call them yourself) and see if there is a problem with your account. 99% of the time there is not---Report the incident to the company's Fraud dept.
these people are really bad--- don't let them get you!

There have also been many reports of restaurant servers and store clerks doing that very thing.

Credit cards can easily be compromised.
