Refuse him sex. If he still comes around or calls then he may be interested in a relationship (or he may just be persistent). If he doesn't come around or call, you've gotten rid of a scumbag and you're that much better off.

I would suggest doing your best to talk in greater detail with him about what he is looking for over the long term. I think many men do want relationships with thier sex but want to avoid the stress that often comes from a relationship. I find women almost always want to pursue marriage, kids etc fairly quickly and that will scare even a good man away if approched too soon.

You want to be on the safe side in assuming he wants sex first, although a surprising lot of males want to know the girl better, before initiating physical relationships, for all I know as a man. It's your job to make things clear with him, whatever your choice is. I understand it takes 2 people to have sex or a relationship, you know.

because everything he does or says will point in some way to having sex. he might take you out to a nice dinner and a show, etc., but the minute those are over he has the attitude that you owe him for that. if a guy takes you out, never makes an advance on you, ya'll have a great time, and he takes you home without making a move on you, and calls you the next day, then he is most likely genuine. you are the boss. don't give in to any guy's headgames. trust me i should know, i'm a guy, but i've been around and i respect women.

you will never know because this is something that you cannot see within a glance. it's a matter of trust and mutual understanding in the relationship. if you don't trust that person, why would you want to give in? it's a silly thing to do as pre-marital sex is never a good idea. there's no point forcing yourself having sex with so many doubts in mind. take it slow and never rush into things especially when it comes to relationship.

It doesn't matter. If you're making out and he's going too far, you can put on the brakes. If he walks away after that, then you know. If he hangs around and is ok with that, then you have your answer also.
On a sidenote, doesn't the idea of "don't give a guy sex unless he doesn't want it" seem sort of cruel?

All men want sex and then decide whether to get into a relationship or not. Men don't want to committ to someone who is not sexually compatible with them because then they start to resent them. Rule of thumb: give him a few weeks and if he's not starting to talk as you two being together walk away.
He probably won't say I'm glad you're my girlfriend at first he'll just talk in general "us" terms instead of "I."

Don't have sex for a while. Tell him to want to wait as you want to have a serious relationship, or that you want to get to know him better first.
If he wants a relationship, he will wait. If he just wants sex, he will lose interest inyou and go for someone who will put out.

this is really hard lol because sometimes guys go out of their way to pretend to like you then get what they want and leave. If hes really trying to pressure you into sex, if he always brings it up, always trys to go farther than you want when you guys r kissin. Those are BIG TIME signs. Tell him what your limits are! If you do not he will think you are open to everything. If he continues to pressuer you even after you said no...dump him because thats all he wants
