Im in a new relationship, it is such a releif, this new girl im seeing pays her way, im finding myself 'fighting' to pay for stuff.
My ex didn't pay for a thing...
Im not used to someone treating me like an equal, and offering to pay for dinner/cinema tickets ect......
Does any one here feel like an equal in their relationship, or do you rely on yourself OR partner to pay for everything..???

Good for you, you may have found the ideal girl! I think it's nice when one pays for something, it could be either the bf or gf, they could take turns :)
In a marriage people do things differently...many families are dual earners because think about it, things are just so costly so they share the responsibility. Others have the man working and women staying at home with the little kids of theirs.
How come a dating relationship can not be similar!!! I think your relationship is awesome how you have it, keep this girl around, I think it is really great and you could go great lengths with this girl!!!
Why should the bf have to always be paying, the gf can too!!! She is a person and I am sure she will find some reward for treating both of you, just like you feel good treating you both as well.
In our society today more and more things are becoming equally so your dating relationship is awesome and should be a model for many more people!!!! Hope everyone reads your post!!!

Yea, men are starting to be treated like equals. Many of us demand equality in the courts and in law and most importantly with rights to love and protect our kids. [Which, of course, is still denied to men.] Yea, at the moment it's 'equality', but just for women; i.e. it's discrimination in women's favour.
Read mouthpeice Mandy, up there, she's bad-mouthing her man because he's doing something women have done for millions of years- he's letting someone else pay.- She's one women who can sit on her own- men refuse to be abused any more. [That will stop her rotten genes from being passed on- end of problem.]
