my boyfriend was driving and went thru a green light and the cop stopped him and said I know you had a green light but Im giving you a ticket anyway. but when the cop gave him the ticket, it said he went thru a red light. his brother was with him and put his seat belt In front of the cop but didn't get a ticket for not wearing it. how come some people can get away with things while others don't???????

Your boyfriend is lying his butt off to you. Something tells me that it wasn't his brother that was with him; I'm guessing he told you that because he's already spoken with his brother, who will invariably back up his lie to you. They're brothers, after all...
No cop in the world is going to risk his job by writing a ticket like this, knowing full well that the violator can go to court and voice the truth.
If I were you, I'd have a serious chat with my boyfriend...and then I'd start looking for another one.

Why not ask the cop instead of taking your boyfriend's word for what happened?
I guess you believe your boyfriend wasn't with that other girl instead of his brother when he got stopped too. Gullible girlfriends are the number one hobby of convicts these days.
