Omeister, I'm not American and I don't live in the US. By the way, when you talk about other nations, how many foreign languages do you speak (I speak 5 myself)?

"Too much down", I've got two European nationalities and my grand father was killed in action while freeing an American prisoner camp in Germany during WW2. I have also lived in the States in my life so yes, I do feel concerned with "your "foreign affair policies as a citizen of the world...

Simone, I respect the troops but I don't understand the people sending them to the Middle East. As for terrorism, has the situation really improved since 9/11? Bali, Madrid, London, Bagdad (on a daily basis)... Who's next?

The military men are not going to die for nothing, they are going to die to save political embarasment and try to retrieve the oil for American Corporations.
For all you naysayers about Iraqui oil does it seem strange that iraqs governemtn is minus over 30% of its elected who live otside country cannot even gt its military to fight and yet this week, probably Friday the usual time, that the Iraqui parliment will open up all the oil fields to three American comanys possibly four with thirty year contracts , that give the Corps 75% of values until some time in future we will only take 20% which is twice as much as any other country alows, 10% being the norm.
the Kurd areas are jsut beginning to see the Shias fighting to retain thier iraquyi lands from the new US suported Kurdistan that got almost 4/5ths of all Iraqui oil fields. That those fields will have a pipeline directly into and through Israel. Just think our military is fighting so Israel can have abundant oil at a cheap price.Of course tow of thecomanys are BP and Shell wich have damn little to dowith American but more in line with Netherlands and Britian interest. Exxon and Conoco are two others.
There are only two portions with oil on them, one is in the Shia South and the major ones are in Kurd hands while the sunnis get almost nothing.
The Shia area got the 18 over drilled adn ahve already gone past peak oil while the kurds got the other 80 fields.Aother factor is that within the shia area it si not all sweet crude buyt more sulphuric.
Cheney wins. As long as we can keep the hias and Sunis cuting each others throats and leaveKurdistan alone.Over 1/2 of land mass of old Iraq is now under a rather peacefull Kurdistan which is even trying to induce toruism of course guarded by US and its mercenary Kurd military.
Rally round the flag boys, rally round the Flag

Just don't slip on all the oil! .

How nice we are!

Marco,

I'm Italian and I live in Milan. I'm following this war since the beginning. I think we shoul owe some respect to American brothers who firstly set us free during WW2.
I know that war is a stupi thing but in these latest years probably it was only solution to stop human foolishness as tiranny and terrorism.
Otherwise shall we prefer to live in a world with some figures like Saddam and Bin Laden?
I really understand your position and I hope that there won't be any other human losses.
The act of bravery of those guys was since the beginning when they chose to join army. They need our respect. We musn't forget them.
Thanks for your question.
Bye

Simon (from Milan).

Marco, why do you even care about the decisions our military make if you are not American or live here?

We have or are in some way protecting your country as well.

By the way, those "troops" did not die for nothing and shame on you for smearing their bravery.

It's to protect the nation's interests. As a superpower, other country's problems become our problem if we don't do anything about it. Plain and simple.

If you don't like the way the government works, or this nation, or don't support your president... you're not being held in this country against your will.
