To grow your hair from really short guy type hair to shoulders will take about a year or more. It will get on your nerves as it starts to grow out of its cut and gets scruffy. Keep it clean and condition it to the ends using a comb as it gets longer. Keep it out of your eyes any way you choose, maybe a hat or a bandana until it is the length you like. Getting regular trims to get rid of split ends and restyling will help. Good luck.

well it all depends on wether ur willing to go threw the few months its going to take to get that long.. for the first little while its not going to be long enough to do anything with it.. my only sugesstion for this stage is to gell it back and wear hats. after a while it will be long enought to put in a small poney tail.. and u can keep it like that till it look good lose.. there are also varios products u can use to make ur hair grow faster. Talk to someone at a local salon.. also ask ur doctor for suggestions on addins to ur regular diet to make ur hair healthy and grow faster.

do not cut it, then it will grow. just takes time. hair grows approx. 1/4 to 1/2" per 4-6 weeks.

Well, hun, If you're black, then it's best to keep it clean, moisturized, greased and in braids...it will grow really fast. If you're any other race all you have to do is keep it clean and moisturized, don't put too much hair gels and different chemicals in it and your good to go!! ^_^

take good care of it. brush it, and keep it detangled. keep it clean. and if you dont use conditioner, USE IT. tes-summe works well, at leas for me. i have hair down to my lower back, and ilearned a few things about cleaning & conditioning. the shampoo is meant for your SCALP. not the ends. that is what the conditioner is for. DONT USE CONDITIONER ON YOUR SCALP! it makes it look greasy. (but if your hair is short, dont worry about it )also, (i dont know how long it is so far) but when it is geting longer, keep it straight when you wash it. dont pile it on your head.
if i helped, cool. but yeah. i dont know why you would WANT to grow it out, but whatever.
