Ha ha, sin is defined by religions- none ever stated sex is a sin, except for homosexual, anal, forced, or specific sexual activity prohibited by marital or social conditions. Go read a book.

I Find It Amazing That Us ..Tiny Infantile Humans.. Actually Believe We Have The Right To Say What God Wants.. Of The Many "GODS" I Have Heard Of In My Lifetime.. All Of Which Are Superior To The Next Man's GOD... All Of Them Seem To Agree That ANYTHING That Pleases The Senses That T"GOD" So Jokingly Gave us Is A "SIN" And We Shall Burn in Hell For It..

I Say This To All My Judeo-Christian Friends Out There.. No Matter What Religious Gang We Belong To...

WE ARE ALL GUILTY!!!

We Have A Symbiotic Relationship With Eachother And We... And I Do Mean ....WE... Have Let Our Respective "GODS" Down.. In A HUGE WAY...

Anything That Man Has Touched Will Eventually Turn to Crap!!

Be It Our Books... The GOOD ONE TOO... Our Precious Buildings.. Our Automoblies.. Rockets..Bombs..Bullets..

Yes Virginia.. Someone's GOD Demands That We HAve Those Too.. And That We Use Them To Spread The Word...

USe Common Sense.. It's A "SIN" To Give Yourself (SEXUALLY) To Anyone That Does Not Respect And Honor You To The Utmost!!

Marriage Does Not Automatically Dictate Fidelity... As Priesthood Does Not Dictate Chasity... Ask The Catholic Church..

If You Believe In Whatever GOD You Believe In .. You Were Made By Him..Her..Or It..

If You honor Where You Came From.. Then You honor That Which Was Given to you.. And Your Mate Should Too..

It's Simple If You Leave The SIN Part Out Of It..

It's Called Self Respect And Discretion..

Like the man said go read a book. Sex as sin is invented by the organized church to control the barons dukes and princes. The church from its inception tried to yield as much absolute power as it could. It never gave a second thought to the people. What is truly amazing is that people put up with that **** for so long. Alternative History. Without the guidance of the church we would in all probability have had an industrial revolution way back in the 15th-16th century. The age of electronics atomic age etc at least in the 18th century. In the mid 90s the church forgave Galileo.

Why is sex a sin?

Sex is not a sin. Illicit sex is sinful.
Like everything in this world you can use it properly or misuse it. Sex life which is NOT contrary to religious principles is actually divine. It is allowed in proper marriages and should be meant for procreation of God conscious children. The responsibility of the parents is to educate their children in spiritual life and direct them to the goal of life. Every sexual activity beyond this performed with body, words or mind is more or less considered sinful. The result is suffering and implication in further sinful activity.

Where did you hear that sex is a sin? Without sex there would be no life. What the Bible is saying to us is not to have it outside of being married and not to have it with someone else's spouse and not to have it if you are married to someone. God intended for each of us to have a loving relationship complete with sex and even for those without it.
May God Bless You

Sex within the marriage arrangement is not a sin. Any other sex will ultimately not make a person happy and therefore is not sanctioned by God.

I believe adults only....after that I don't know any other rules. What do you know and how did you find out it was a sin?

Uh oh! Could be a few sins being committed by adult persons who are unaware of this sinful activity. (Yikes)!!
