bring in an expert to advice u not only to make the well and drill but also to finalise the best location within ur area.
the water available will depend on the geology of the ground and weather any aquaducts r present under ur available space. there r expensive methods to investigate too but there r cheap and reliable methods too like some experts with two copper rods in hand can walk around ur arez and tell u the best location to drill. but these r not guarenteed .

How deep is water in your area? You can pound it if you can go at least 25 feet. Typically, the deeper the better since most contamination is at the surface. In our area, we have nitrates near the water table and need to drill deeper to get cleaner water.
