bipolar means manic-depressive, I was engaged to a guy that was like that, he needed professional help, I broke it off. bipolar you have high highs (happy excited energetic) and then very sudden low lows, apparently for no reason (moody agitated agry sad) Bipolar and self conciousness are like apples and oranges. Bipolar needs to be treated by a psych person with possible medication. Self confidence comes from within.

One has nothing to do with the other. Bipolar is a disorder where the mood of the person fluctuates from manic to depressive. Each 'pole' can last different lengths of time. There are specific forms such as Bipolar I, Bipolar II and Unipolar. These are primarily treated with a 'mood stabilizer' such as Valproic Acid or Lithium.
Being selfconscience is a trait where the person is hyper-aware of things that relate to him/her.
The feeling that you describe in your question, though, is one of paranoia, being one of the specifiers for Schiczophrenia; though I do not believe that you actually suffer from this disorder.

Hi, it sounds like your really worried about this and i think its a good idea to talk to a doctor or counsellor about it to put your mind at rest. That way u wont have to keep stressin, and if u do have bi polar or any other mental health issue......u can get the right help and advice as well as treatment. I know it sounds scary, but mental health issues are really common and nothing to be ashamed of.
Good luck
