Ah the age old question.....just like all the questions before it, "How did people discover he had wine for blood?" or "Did he used to feed the ducks with his own body?". I think in the same respect as the fishes and the loaves, the number is never clear...

Jesus was about 70% water. Wine is about 91% water (6% alcohol, 4% sugar and dissolved solids). Let's assume bread is 0% water for simplification, so:

Assumming Jesus weighed about 150 lbs, you have

150lbs * 70% = lbs of wine * 91%

solving this gives us:

lbs of wine = 115 lbs

The rest is bread, so 150lbs - 115lbs = 35lbs of bread.

Wine density varies but is around 11 lbs/gallon, so you would need approximately 10 1/2 gallons of wine.

I think it would be 13 glasses of wine and 13 peices of bread. This would have covered all the apostles and jesus too.

One communion wafer and a sip of communion wine are equal to the body and blood of christ therefore you only need to go communion once to have eaten a whole Jesus.

Gospel Reading: John 6:51-58
Jesus said to the Jews, "I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh." The Jews them disputed among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever."

they say it is the body, not just part, but the.

but with the whole transsubstanciation, it gets complicated, I would see how much saltines and grape juice the church uses in a day and double it (you know they keep half of jesus to themselves!)
