Lots of water. Wash your hands before you touch or wash your face. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, they are a good source of beta carotene which is an anti-oxidant. Drink roobios and or green tea, also anti-oxidants. You will likely need some sort of astringent, you can make these but it's time consuming and can get expensive. Peroxide will work just fine and is quite cheap, about a dollar at a drug store. You can make your own exfoliates with either salt or sugar, depending on your skin type, dry skin uses sugar, oily skin uses salt. Add a bit to a liquid soap, not to much just enough to make it grainy, you don't want to tear the skin. Use that once a day to start and then go to twice. Pay attention to what happens to your skin, if it gets to dry then you may need to do a sugar scrub at night (best time to moisturize) if it gets to oily do a morning salt scrub. If it becomes red or rashy you are either using it to much, scrubbing to hard or you are having an allergic reaction. Follow the scrub with a good cold water rinse and an astringent (peroxide). Wash your face at least twice a day, no more than five times, three is optimal. To much can cause your body to react by overproducing oils which are part of what causes acne. Hope this was helpful and not overwhelming. I am an aromatherapist and have seen this work several times.

Washing your face with a mild soap, and drinking water. That's about all you can do. There isn't even a cure for acne. You just grow out of it hopefully.

stop using face products for a while. Im serious. Sometimes they aggrevate the skin and make you break out.........even when they are spose to do the opposite! Try not using anything but a gentle soap and water for at least 4 days.

Keep your skin clean. Don't scrub it to death; that only makes it worse. Check your diet. You may be eating too much of something that makes it worse. Try to keep the excess oil off your skin. You may need a mild medication.
