Taking some very rough figures 1litre of gas oil probably weighs about 800g and is 90% by weight carbon. 12g of carbon generates 44g of CO2. Therefore CO2 generated by burning 1 litre of gas oil is
800 x .9 x 44/12 = 2600 g approx

wtf is gasoil? do you mean gasoline? This really depends on the composition of the gasoline your talking about. Not all gasoline is the same. It is late right now, other wise I would solve the problem. If this is for school then I'll help. Otherwise don't even think about it.
