You do not need to embrace any religion to answer this: We are asking a question any man or woman can ponder.

The supernatural antagonist of all that isn't "right", the knower of things that we shouldn't know, the embrace of things temporal and earthly. Whatever you may believe, if the chance was presented to you, would you take it?

NO. Although a very tempting proposition, and all humans morbid curiosity would lean in that direction, I wouldn't trust my ability to see him as the deceiver that he is. He would likely be able to deceive me, so I would have to pass on the opportunity.

Good question.

The way the concept of Devil is presented in the Christian Islamic
and other religion is not understood in the essence (I mean with the intrinsic significance)... In Hindu thought, it is more clear, for it is referred to as Maya (illusion or ignorance)... that makes you believe in the transient world by enticing you with the desires and infatuations of sorts...

The rule of the grand Game of Life that the Lord has willed for Man (that is, humans) is to make use of his faculties of reasoning to tide over the maaya and realize the Divine... Again, the reasoning working with the objective transitory world ruled by the Maaya would further delude him, till he learns to see beyond the material world, into the realm of his own inner faculties like Love Compassion Truth etc... wherefore he finds God and merges in His glory...

So there is no question of meeting the Devil (Illusion), he is very much with us, making you ask the million dollar question and making me attempt a reply... He is the one making some people fight in the name of the Lord (!) who is all-love and some others spread the message of peace (without causing divisions or exploiting the innocent)...

In his introduction to a Poetry composed by Nobel Laurette Tagore (India) entitled "Song Offerings" (Gitanjali), another Nobel Laurette W.B.Yeats (Irish) says at one point, "... three fourths of our energy is spent in fighting with bad taste..." That is Mr Devil and he has the vital role in the grand Creation...

You already know the devil unless you are born-again. The devil's will is what non Christians do. Why do you think this world is so messed up? Just turn on the 6 o'clock news and see how many people were murdered today. And I'll bet your going to say it's God's fault.

If I knew I could still live and remember it, yes, if I was dead, no, cause i'd probably be sent to hell to do this.

Though I'm unsure if the Devil is the sorrowfull angel cast off from god or the being of hate. I'd still like to talk to him/her and see views from a different point.

I believe in all seriousness that you have the stupidest idea I've ever heard .there is no sane reason even on a hypothetical basis for such.

I'd be scared out of my life. And I don't get scared easily.

If I could look Fear in the eyes and conquer it? Is that what you mean?

Would I? Depends on the circumstance....sometimes I prefer to fully understand my enemy, before I confront it.
