I believe in God. I believe he created souls ... and the Heavens. I believe he has "sub gods" (a staff) and they created the lower planes (including Earth).

Yeah, I know ... not exactly the mainstream view ... but it has merit if you look into it.

I think religion was created to keep the masses in order. Otherwise mankind would have no reason whatsoever to be good people, to have good morals, if there wasn't a higher authority to answer to.

But for some reason, I do kinda believe in God. Maybe more like a lifestyle/karma thing. I don't really believe in a veangeful God, that if you were a good person all your life, never hurt a soul, but if you died and went for judgment and never adhered to the religion, that God would just smite you to hell. What is that all about?

Yeah, probably ignorant.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

I like the idea of god, and I would like to believe that there is someone watching over us, but if there is why does he keep kicking me in the head with a pointy shoe???? I mean come on!!!!! And I also don't think he created everything cause I like to believe the underpants gnomes did that.

Oh yeah I forgot to add... RELIGION STARTS WARS!!!!! BOYCOTT THE CHURCH!!!!

Well, He founded the earth. He doesn't 'control' everything, but has a plan for us to follow, as a human race. We also have free will and there is a certain tragedy to being human, such as the unnecessary death of an artist such as Aaliyah or the loss of Princess Diana. They were not meant to go at that time; that is why people mourn them so. They know how it really is. God shows mercy and compassion and brings about justice and equality.

No he did not create everything-Just the beginning-read the first chapter of the Bible in the Old testament.

I don't think he controls everything-----but I sure don't want to piss him off.
