im really bored of the plain old pony tail and i was wondering if anyone out there knew any good ways i could do my hair? my hair is medium to long [more long] and wavy, sometimes curly around my face. im in year nine this year and am desperately needing some new ideas to mix it up a bit. its not that long til school starts and id love if anyone knew any good ways i could do my hair. thanks ppl xoxo

Adding to what the person in front of me said . . . Also, half up/half down, clips, bobby-pins, pinning the front section and then leaving the rest down, different parts (zigzag, to the side)

I do mine alot of times (when in a hurry but don't want to run out the door dripping) in a twist starting at the base of my neck and twisting up and securing with cheapo black chopsticks, leaving the ends dangling for a loose and bouncy look. My hair is about 8 inches past my shoulders. I also do not have bangs, they are grown out to almost shoulder length.
If you are short on ideas, have a couple friends or family members over and just play around for a few hours to see what really works for you.
